Mission

MGST mission is to help underserved people build healthy communities, through education and sustainable development.

Vision

We envision resilient people in healthy and sustainable housing being the catalyst for a better community.

Company Overview

Our company strives to address the needs of our youth by using the three principles of sustainability:

  •     Economic
  •     Social
  •     Environmental

Economically: Our job and career pathway program will prepare and guide youth into family sustaining employment.  We will accomplish this by building and enhancing our youth’s essential skills in job readiness, financial literacy, environmental literacy, career planning and customer services.

Socially: Our goal is to ensure that the youth are informed and engaged members of society. This will be accomplished by addressing emotional needs through one-on-one/group counseling, life skills and civic education, which will actuate community involvement and stewardship. They will become knowledgeable about the community in terms of its economic conditions, political structure, norms and values. We expose youth to societal and ecological theories helping them to understand the larger physical and social environment.

Environmentally: We address our youth’s living needs by housing them in multi-family and/or single family homes that utilizes the most cutting edge green and energy efficient technology. Our goal is to revitalize communities while remaining socially inclusive and economically viable. By reducing the carbon footprint of the communities in which we serve, and educating its residents, we create healthy homes and support the green economy.
